Dean Koontz has many #1 bestsellers and all of his books are worth of hundreds of minutes we spend .But among the best there are always something better and the story of young and ambitious boy gifted the ability of communicating with those who are between the two sides of life and there is no way out, if not Odd Thomas is one of the best.
The story takes the hold of breath from almost the first page . It continues to the end of the book and stops with the last page.The story begins in an old and small town of Pico Mundo,the cook that knows nothing but his town, his love and his work, knows one more thing "the dead don't talk but do try to communicate ".He saves lives and saves souls and everytime the evil comes,there comes "bodachs".
Those strange and frightful creatures gather to get their portion of satisfaction from the fear and pain of human.
So,there comes the day when hundreds of bodachs gather together!
The book is full of everything;super humor that can only Koontz, fear ,death ,fight ,"bodachs" and the endless love.I didn't regret even for a second that from thousands of others i have chosen this one.It was so exciting that now i am saving money to buy another two books about Odd.I don't understand everything in this book because of my not enough level in English but i just couldn't put it away from the reach of my hand for a minute ,thus i read it in three days.I advise it to everybody and in Asia if you make even the least advise you take the whole responsibility, so do I.Nowadays, this is the best choice .Good luck.
