Maniac Magee was good

I thought that this book was actually really good. The story would probably never actually happen but I still liked it. There were some really sad parts which I personally don't like, but then again there was also really happy parts. If you like fiction then you definitely should read this book.

Maniac Magee is a boy who was sent to live with his Aunt and Uncle. Things went pretty well at first but then the Aunt and Uncle started to hate each other. they wouldn't talk, look, touch or smell the other person. Maniac Magee could not put up with this so he ran away. When i say ran about though, i mean seriously he RAN away. He goes to a place where mostly all blacks live and when you continue to read the book you find out about his experiences in mostly all white neighbor hoods. He has no idea that whites and blacks have different skin colors and he really doesn't care.
