Janette Oke - Love Comes Softly

I first read the Love Comes Softly series when I was a teenager and I feel in love then. Even now, 10 years later I still love all eight of these books. Set in the late 1800s, this story involves a young pregnant woman who, when her husband is tragically killed, marries another man to take care of his daughter. The first book is their love story, the other seven tell about their lives as their children grow. These books are very easy reading. Janette Oak is a very accomplished writer and I now read everything by her that I can get my hands on. I would definitely recommend these books to anyone.
