I love Stephanie, but...

I have been a fan of the Stephanie Plum books since shortly after their debut, they are laugh out loud funny, and the characters are beyond endearing, even though they are very untraditional. I highly recommend this series, and not just in theory, my current copy has a waiting list of friends borrowing it! Janet manages to make Stephanie a totally lovable goofball, and her friends are people I wish I could know myself. If you haven't checked these out, just start with the first one, and you will be instantly hooked!





that said, I would like to see this love triangle resolved, it feels a bit stretched. I still laugh just as hard at Steph and Lula's antics, and am surprised that janet manages to keep coming up with new funnies for them to get into. Fearless Fourteen was a fearless funny read, and anyone having a bad day would do very well to go pick up a copy and see how quickly you tear through it. Another nice point about this series is that the continuity is wonderful, each one picks up shortly after the last went out. I will buy these forever, I can totally picture Lula and Stephanie having a wonderful time in the retirement home in the future!
