McCaffery's Dragonseye, returning to the early days of Pern

The Bottom Line: It's good, but not great. Fills in some of the details of how the colony made the shift from technology to a primitive lifestyle, but it's too clumsy.

The Bottom Line: I don't see how anyone can skip this installment, which is is one of (if not) the best Pern books yet, hands down.
