Author's Review
I have a beagle, and as expected, there have been accidents. I own a Bissell SteamCleaner Plus when I want to clean an entire room (which works great), put wanted something just to get remove spots (urine or vomit), so I went to WalMart, saw this product, and immediately purchased it. After I got home, I checked the Epinions website (as I always do) to look at the reviews, and after reading about the "leaks" the short "charge time", the "lack of suction", etc. I thought "maybe I had made a mistake". I charged it for a day, and just tried it tonight, on some old stains. I WAS AMAZED, and for whatever reason, I don't have the horror stories that several others have described on this site: Not one leak, the suction was strong, and most importantly, I was able to get to all the stains I had BEFORE THE CHARGE WAS LOST (I didn't leave it running between the time that I treated the stain, and sucked it up, which was just a matter of minutes. I would spray, turn it off, let the treatment sit, then turn it back on when I was ready to suck up the stain). In fact, it never died in the timeframe that it took me to clean the old stains I had. So, for $29.00 I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this product, and endorse it HIGHLY!!! Cleaning it afterwards was quick and a breeze as well, did not experience any of the nightmare described in other reviews in this area either. This is clearly a SPOTLIFTER, not a carpet cleaner, and when I am ready to "clean" my carpet, I will pull out the carpet cleaner, but I now don't have to pull that out just for spots!
