This is the best carpet cleaning machine!
Pros:
Picks up all it puts down, adjustable soap amounts, 2-in-1 tank, heats the water
Cons:
I haven't found any!
The Bottom Line:
This is the best carpet cleaner I've ever tried! It is easy to use, heats the water, has great smelling cleaners, and sucks up all the water it puts down.

I am in a rent house that is 8 years old, we've lived here for 6 month. I have no idea how many people lived on this carpet before we did. I do know that the carpets were "professionally" cleaned before we moved in.
I've used several different friends steam cleaners, which led me to buy Bissell over Hoover. When I was looking for a deep cleaner, this one seemed to be the best I could buy. I received it as a Christmas gift.
I've used it 3 times now and boy is it gross seeing what all the cleaner can get off the floors!
The hard floor: looked as good as if I had gotten on my hands and knees and scrubbed all day long. It is white and I thought it was clean from my regular mopping, but it just never sparkled like this before! An added bonus: I love the way the Hard Floor Cleaner smells!
The carpet: Here's the gross part. I have 2 dogs that I expect to track in some dirt. I thought I had a handle on it with vacuuming twice a week... This machine got soooo much dirt out of the floor, it was just amazing, or disgusting, depending on how you look at it. It makes me wonder how much is our dirt and how much belonged to the previous tenants! Gross!
I love the bladder in the tank. It is so easy to fill up. At first, I worried about the dirty water getting into the clean water, but seriously, you'd have to be sloshing the machine around awfully hard for that to happen...
I also love the separate area for the cleaning solution. I like not wasting solution when I switch from using the hard floor cleaner to the carpet cleaner and back. I also like that you can use more cleaner on one section of carpet and less cleaner on another section with a simple twist of the dial.
I love the way all of the cleaners I have used smell. So far I've used the Hard Floor Solutions, the Fiber Cleansing Formula, and the Pet Odor and Soil Removal Formula. They all leave the home smelling fresh, not chemically.
I love how well it sucked up the water. You can't run the derby with it, but if you go slow and steady (as with any carpet cleaning machine) it'll pick up a ton of water. My floors have been dry within 2 hours all three times I've used it.
My furniture can't be steam cleaned, so I haven't tried out the attachments yet...
