Makes Great Breakfast Sandwiches - But even more impressive, just great eggs and toast
Pros:
Works exactly as advertised, perfect results every time. Golden Arches? Who needs em?
Cons:
None here. People with large families may be arguing about who gets to go first!
The Bottom Line:
If you love egg sandwiches, or just eggs in general, run, don't walk, to your nearest retailer. This is one gimmicky looking product that really lives up to its promises.

Author's Review
I am a gadget fanatic and an egg fanatic, so when I saw this on a "best-seller" list at Amazon.com I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Naturally, I expected to read nothing but bad reviews about the product being a gimmick, not working properly, having poor construction, etc. Au contraire! Almost every single person that purchased this product fell in love with it. Since I had a gift certificate and didn't have to even outlay any cash, I decided to go for it. What a great decision!
First of all, it is a very attractive, sturdy appliance. It is slightly larger than a regular two slice toaster, but its functionality more than makes up for the little round egg poacher/steamer part up front.
Next, on to breakfast sandwich capability. There are several considerations here: speed, ease of preparation, ease of cleanup and healthy eating. To make a breakfast sandwich here's what you have to do. 1. Take the ingredients out of the refrigerator. 2. Split the muffin and pop into the toaster. 3. Open the egg poacher section, remove the little poaching pan and spray the pan with non-stick spray. 4. Break your egg into the pan and pierce the yolk with a fork. 5. If desired, place a piece of precooked breakfast meat into the meat warmer. 6. Fill the measuring cup to the desired doneness of the egg (clearly marked on the side). 7. Pour the water into the "well" at the bottom and reassemble the poacher. 8. Push "egg and toast" button on the side and depress the lever for the toaster. Voila!
This may sound like a lot of steps, but the prep time is actually probably right around a minute or so. Go about your business and in a few minutes, everything will be done at once. The appliance is clever enough not to start toasting until the egg is done enough so that the two are completed at the same time! Take your muffin or toast out of the toaster, carefully remove the plastic cover of the steamer and place the breakfast meat on the bread, flip the egg poacher over so the egg lands on top of the meat, add cheese if desired and you are seconds away from enjoying a mouth watering Egg McSandwich! Beautiful.
As for cleanup, all you have to do is wipe the "well" out with a damp paper towel to prevent hard water spots. Same with the egg poaching pan. The remaining parts really only need to be rinsed and the whole thing reassembled. I'm pretty sure you could put all the removable parts into the dishwasher, but there really is no reason to as far as I can tell.
So, to summarize what I said earlier - Speed. Entire process takes under 5 minutes. Ease of preparation, ease of cleanup. Nothing on the stove, no additional pots or pans, nothing to wash. A few swipes with a damp paper towel and a rinse is all you really need. And, healthy eating. You make all the choices. The bread or muffin can be regular or whole wheat. Buttered or unbuttered. Meatless patties work as well as regular sausage. Cheese can be regular, lowfat or eliminated. And, best of all, it works just as well with eggbeaters as regular eggs. It's really all up to the chef to make it as healthy as he or she wants it to be.
Sorry, I know this is getting long, but I just had to mention a couple of other things. This product also makes hard and soft boiled eggs. I don't know about you, but I love soft boiled eggs and toast, but I only get them to come out to the desired doneness probably 1 in 10 times. This appliance, if you use the measuring cup provided, makes them absolutely perfectly every, single time. Same with poached eggs. If you desire a soft or medium yolk, just don't pierce the yolk, measure to the desired doneness and you're home free. And I'm sure y'all know what a pain it is to poach an egg on the stove! No more.
Can you tell I love this product?
