Handle Trouble

To Start out with this car seat looked like a good deal.  It was priced in the mid range.  
  The seat was very nice looking and a matching stroller can be purchased.  We spend alot of time outdoors, and one of our main reasons for purchasing the baby trend car seat to begin with was because there are only so many off road/jogging type strollers and baby trend sells one to match the car seat. - ( A whole nother story- dont buy the stroller either) 
  The seat seemed small for our son. He is not a big boy at 6lbs 3 oz  it still seemed like a tight fit. I am not sure how long it would have even lasted as he grew. It did have a nice harness that seemed pretty easy to connect once it was let out. 
 Another Nice thing about the seat was the base. It seemed easy to install in the vehicle and the seat snapped so easily on the base.  I was also able to buy additional bases for our other vehicles at a reasonable price! 
   Unfortunately, the Handle did not work well.  It would stick so bad we could not get it up or down! It was such a pain.  I know you may think how bad could a sticky handle be.  Well imagine trying to get a new born baby in with the handle stuck in the carry position- It makes it very hard to get a baby in or out of the seat without bumping them on it or waking them. At first, I thought it was just that particular seat that was broken. So I returned it to the store that it was bought at and they replaced it with a new one.  The second seats handle worked for one day and then also stuck. I then had to return it also and pay extra for a different seat.  While I was in the return line a lady was laughing and said she had the same problem with that exact seat and had to return it for a different brand.   I would never recommend this seat to anyone due to the frustration of the handle.
