The BMW M5.....As fast as a Vette and....

Many high-performance cars often sacrifice ride comfort, cargo and passenger space, and noisy cockpits for handling, power, and styling.
But not in the BMW M5. The BMW's ride quality is amazing for a high performance car and it can pull a 0.87 g on the skid pad(which is better than a Ferrari 456M). The BMW engineers went all out on the engine by packing 400 horses and 395 pounds per foot. All of that translates into a very quick 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds(that's as fast as a Corvette!!!!!). It also sprints from 0-100 mph in 15.8 seconds.
Unfortunately, for all of you enthusiast, the is a speed limiter which limits the car to 155 mph.
One of the very nice features that I particularly like is the four-door setup. The M5 also offers lots of rear passenger legroom, which is hard to find in high performance cars. In the BMW, the only transmission available is a six-speed manual transmission. The only catch is that there will only be 1500 M5's sent to the U.S. this year. If you are a sports car enthusiast but have a family with kids, this is the car for you, if you can afford its $70K price tag.
