Great design, mostly great functionality.
Pros:
Easy computer sync keeps contacts, calendars current. 16 GB holds more a LOT!
Cons:
Limited battery life, glass can scratch & crack, occasionally freezes during use, $$$.
The Bottom Line:
Incredibly fast, handy apps, a really useful time-saver, as well as great amusement.

Author's Review
GREAT features: Phone, contacts, email, camera & photo files, ipod, weather, web, texting, calculator, GPS, Clock (with multiple alarms & timezones), calendar, notes, stock ticker, iTunes & YouTube - all built-in, and make this feel like having a computer in your pocket. Add the numerous apps and it feels like something very special. You can actually operate a business from this phone.
Service-wise, when you're in an area where good service coverage exists, it moves very quickly & reliably. However, in areas of poor or patchy coverage, it barely works. You are given the option of using the 3G network, or wifi, which is very handy in areas where 3G coverage doesn't exist. I would not buy this is I did not live in a 3G area. The GPS is so helpful - you can find a restaurant or shop wherever you are, get directions & figure out where you are if you get lost. It's my favorite feature by far - and a time-saver to boot.
In terms of phone performance, the phone can freeze up occasionally, but it resets itself when that happens. You can also turn the phone off & on again in order to correct odd performance. I should have gotten the 8 GB model - 16 GB holds more than I will ever need it to! No major problems with performance. The battery doesn't hold a charge that lasts all day with heavy use, but the phone charges very quickly.
Be warned: AT&T doesn't offer insurance coverage for this phone, nor a discounted replacement plan.
Overall: You will fall in love with this phone & wonder how you ever managed without it. Just don't lose it!
