Love my mac

The Bottom Line: I would buy it again!
I have a large monitor that my Dell couldn't support. I have been thinking of moving towards a Mac for some time. The viruses were killing me. Then I noticed that the Mac Mini could drive a monitor at 1920x1280! So I took the plung I bought a new Mac Mini for $450 on Ebay.
The first week was hard. All of the small differences added up. It was slowing me down. Then after a week I started to get the hang of it. Today I love my Mac. I still uses a Dell Laptop at work, but I am trying to replace it with a corporate power book.
The Mac Mini is a great way to get your feet wet! And even if you decided you don't like the mac you can always install Windows on it.
I run NeoOffice (open office) on my Mac. This is a very large program, twice as large as MS office. I would suggest upgrading to 2G of RAM ASAP. Also I have found that iLife uses tons of drive space. You may want more drive space if you want to play with some of the cool multimedia applications.
So far I don't even need windows.
