Apple IPod nano

The product I am going to be reviewing is the IPod Nano, second generation four GB. There are many components to an IPod such as sound, size, compatibility, cost, and simplicity for people to learn about the product. The IPod is a very light-weight, handy tool for all the music lovers of the world.
One component that went into consideration before buying the IPod was cost. The cost of the particular IPod I bought was $199.99. That may seem like a lot of money for a music player but if you are very music savvy and you use it to its full capabilities, then this is a good buy. I use this product almost everyday so it was worth the cost for me.
The expectations I had for this product were fairly high. I expected it to be very easy to use and be ready to use whenever I wanted to listen to it. Overall it did meet my expectations. It stays charged for quite a long time, up to eight hours fully charged, and it holds all the songs I put on it. For example the four gig IPod holds 1000 songs so it gives me plenty of space to put what I want on there. It also has no problem connecting to a certain type of computer, whether it is a PC or MAC. The product was very easy to navigate and get to where you wanted quickly.
The reason I bought the IPod in the first place was because one of my friends had got it before I did and really liked it. Also it had just come out a few months before and there was a lot of promotion for and around it. There had been a lot of good reviews about the Nano and I listened to other people who had it to see if the IPod would be worth the money to buy it. Also, I did not like when I would have to buy the whole CD and not like the rest of the songs on the CD. With the IPod I can make my own song lists.
I love almost everything about this product. I love the assortment of colors that it comes in, and how small the device is. I can put it in my pants pocket, in my purse, or almost anywhere else one could think of. Also, it is very light weight and very small. I also love that I can make my own playlists and I can have everything from rock to hip hop to whatever I feel like listening to. Also, I like how durable the actual IPod is. It is not cheap looking or made out of plastic. Another thing about the product is the battery life. If I charge it for an hour I will get two hours of life from it. Another aspect that I like about it is that it supplies the earphones for the consumer.
Although there are many things I do like about the product there are some improvements that could be made. I think that the company could make the syncing to different computers a little easier. If I need to use a different computer, it erases all my songs on my current playlist and puts the songs from that computer on there. Also, I believe that they could make the space bigger on the IPod and still be the same price. Some other suggestions could be that they should supply customers with a sports band and protective case for it.
There are some comparisons to be made between the IPod and other music players. The comparisons between the IPod and the Sansa c240 MP3 player are sound, size, durability, portability, battery life, and simplicity. The battery life, for example with the Sansa if it is fully charged it only lasts about four hours. Also, with the simplicity of the IPod it makes everything else harder to operate. So it is not really a comparison at all. Overall the IPod comes out on top in all cases.
I would highly recommend the IPod. It is a very useful. If something ever happens to my IPod, I think that I will go buy a new one. Now that I have had one for a little over a year, I like it to much to go without one. I recommend it to anyone that likes music and has accessibility to a computer. The IPod is possibly one of the best inventions made. If any person even remotely likes music and their ability to chose what they listen to I advise them to go buy and IPod. They would not regret your decision.
