I love this machine!

The Bottom Line: This machine is worth every penny. I would recommend it to even the computer literacy impaired because of its ease in use.
After spending a week at a fine arts school using their Mac to make a movie, I decided my next laptop would have to be a Mac. I looked through the various models available and settled on the 13 inch MacBook, finding the size perfect for taking everywhere. It is also light weight making it easy for travel. I bought a Mac for Dummies book, but quickly found that learning the OS system was incredibly easy and I seldom had to refer to the book.
The keys on this machine are close enough together as to make for quick typing. The touch pad can be turned to a tap system or not. Shortcuts to use functions are easy to remember and use. Spotlight and finder make searching for anything on the computer simple. Spotlight also separates its finds based on folder, application, document, etc.
The back lighting makes using the laptop a breeze in the dark. The controls for both lighting and sound are quick and simple to use.
The icon drag system makes installing applications easy. This click and drag feature is simple to use to put items in the trash, take items out of folders and put them in the dock, or place items on the desktop.
I have found this machine to perform in magic ways at times....spilling an entire can of diet soda on the keyboard caused no damage to its quick and accurate functioning...truly a magic situation.
The one flaw I found in the structure of the machine is the ease in which dirt collects on the sides of the keys and is difficult to remove. The screen also gets dirty easily and has to be wiped off frequently.
