History Alive

Amistad is a dramatic portrayal of human suffering and injustice. It is history brought to life! A quality production! A keep focused movie. It demands attention. A harsh reality movie with real life issues that have plagued our country forever. It's about slavery the hostile and demeaning takeover of one race by another. By killing, hatred, torture, rape and tearing apart of families. I give Amistad an A+. Stephen Spielberg is an excellent director. Other quality movies of his include Schindlers List. Anthony Hopkins is of course a wise pick for supporting actor! I choose movies that keep me interested and get to the heart of things, this one does just that. I would recommend it for teenagers and adults alike. Amistad is a tribute to the human spirit and our God given right to freedom and survival. Keep up the good work!
