I'd like another piece, please!

Literally, I thought that American Pie was the funniest teen comedy ever made. With an all-star cast of characters that made High School life believable from a hilarious point of view, how could you go wrong with seeing a movie such as this? American Pie 2 continues the tradition of bringing funny to theaters.

I was amazed... the sequel truly lives up to its birth name. While the movie never has one of those pie scenes (you know what I'm talking about) from the first film, there is one scene with pie in it. Although the title of the movie really doesn't live up to its "Pie" title that doesn't really matter, since this movie is just so damn funny.

It's been an entire year since we left the four guys, Jim (Jason Biggs, Saving Silverman), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas, The Rookie), Oz (Chris Klein, Here on Earth), and Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas, Freddy Got Fingered) at the hot dog restaurant, Dog Year's. And after their first year at college, we're going to take a look at the friends' summer vacation. It seems the four guys are having women problems again, but this time in a different and yet again a humorous way.

Jim's problem is that Nadia, the East Central chick who had to leave him after their "intimate" scene in the first movie, is back, and she wants to see Jim. The only problem is that Jim feels insecure about his sexual life. With the help of his old friend Michelle (Alyson Hannigan, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: the TV show), she'll teach Jim about the essence of women nature.

Kevin's problem is again related to Vicky, his girlfriend who went to a distant college. Both Kevin and Vicky feel that to best express their lost love is with friendship. But, is that what they really want? I don't think so.

Oz's problem is that Heather (Mena Suvari, American Beauty), his new girlfriend from the first film, has gone away for a while, and she won't be in his arms until she's done. In the mean time, Stifler (Sean William Scott, Dude Where's My Car?) will try to get Oz to party with every girl in sight and to forget about Heather.

Finch's problem has him wanting Stifler's Mom all over again. She was Finch's first love, and he feels she was his best. Finch devotes his whole time to the life of lunacy as he aches to see Stifler's Mom yet again.

As I've already stated, the cast is back. Stifler, who wasn't really one the highlights to the first film, is going to play a bigger and better part this time around. That's right, the crew is back together with a fifth tire.

So where's all this crazy mayhem going to occur? The friends have decided to hold the biggest, and best beach party anyone's ever seen. Fun in the sun, chicks, and tons of comedy by the barrel full awaits!

From the start of the film, you'll notice how what happened from the beginning of the first film, is yet again redone in a different and funnier sense. Just like in Rush Hour 2, some of the jokes are taking into a reversal effect. Trust me though, American Pie 2 is hilarious when the process is used. I don't think that I'd change a thing about the movie, to tell you the truth.

However, the characters seemed different. The theme after all is "Things change, people change." I can see that for real. Stifler changes. He's still a funny and essential character, but somehow his character is much different. I didn't see his new "style" to worsen, or become even greater. It's just... whatever. You know what I mean? It's like, the characters have changed, but you're not really going to care much about the difference.

Just as Stifler changed, Jim's dad (Eugene Levy) changed too. His change was the only different one that really amazed me. His character is now louder, and more in your face. The last movie had Jim's dad as a slow, boring guy that could amuse you with his references to sex in a nice, fatherly way. Now, Jim's dad will actually say the words like people actually do. He'll talk the talk instead of trying to walk the walk. This change for his dad wasn't too bad, but I just felt as if it wasn't the same and as funny as his character was before.

The only thing I can tell you about how the acting is... you'll have to watch the first film to see what you're missing. The acting is done just as good from every character before. They'll all make you smile. They'll all make you giggle. They'll all make you believe that these people are for real when their craziness is brought onto the camera.

Comedy ensues each scene as new ideas are placed over the old. Luckily, you won't have to worry about this comedy not giving you a laugh as - if you've got a sick and perverted mind like some people - you too can enjoy the comedy that makes pants sop.

Of course, as things are changing, the soundtrack to the film has also changed. I don't listen to the type of music played in these teen movies, but I can tell you that some of the songs sounded better than even the last film's. Some of the new music sounds more rockish than before, and sometimes mellows out to a soothing sound.

Overall, American Pie 2 is going to make every adult laugh. Teens too, if they have the ability of getting into the theater. No matter the case, I loved this movie. Go see it NOW! If you were a fan of the last movie, or if you've never laughed so hard that your teeth fell out, American Pie 2 is just the right dessert for your evening hours.
