Get what you pay for

Bought the widescreen model which isn't listed on Epinions. The AL1716W from Walmart. Unit comes in two pieces the screen and a snap on base. Has a basic VGA connector and power. No built in speakers.

Hooked up to my Linux and mac no problem, however the display seem blurry and washed down. Played with the adjustments and was able to make some improvements but didn't look nearly as nice as my Dell monitor at work or my IBook G4 screen.

I am planning to use this with my home server so quality didn't matter too much. If you just need a monitor for surfing the web and reading e-mails, this monitor should suffice. Any gaming or graphical stuff, you will want to spend the money on a better monitor than this.
