Well-built and very good value

Pros: Value, best blend of performance, features, looks, ruggedness. A real truck.

Cons: Hope it's as reliable as my old Toyota.

I'm replacing my 10 year old Toyota Truck with a bigger Chevy; this is my first American nameplate! So far, so good. The V8 engine is smooth and efficient, actually having the best gas mileage of all the trucks I compared. Looked at all the others and Chevy has the best blend of size, features, and price. I could not beat the price with GM Employee Discount, rebate, and my GM card. Ford truck was very good but too big and gas mileage was worse. Toyota too expensive. Did not like Dodge's interior and worst-of-the- pack gas mileage.
