Bring a theme park into your home

I love going to theme parks and riding all the rides whether it’s a rollercoaster zooming fast, rattle snake rapids when you come off your are drenching wet or the nice simple rides such as the merry go round.  Each ride has its own personality and gives for a wonderful day.  Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 lets me enjoy this from my home but the best part is I get to design it the way I want.  Roller Coaster Tycoon is a fun game that you can play on your computer.  You design your amusement park the way you want.
OBJECTIVE
This game has several different objectives based on if you’re a beginner, intermediate, or a expert.  The different objectives might be to have 1500 people in your park by year 4 with a rating of 600, or you might need so many roller coasters in your park by a certain time, or you might just need a certain amount of money with a good rating.  I like this game because it’s not the same every time I play it.  With different objectives it changes the game every time you play.
PLAYING
You design the park you want.  You need to have a variety of everything to keep your customers happy and coming in.  Some of them like the fast roller coasters, some like the thrill rides such as haunted houses, or maybe even a slower ride such as the circus.  There are also pathways that need to be made so your customers can get to and from your rides.   Be careful not to make them to long, the customers will get grumpy if they have to sit in line of to long.   You also get to build shops such as food stands, gift shops and what all amusement parks need restrooms and ATM’s.    There is also fun stuff to bring a little flavor to your amusement park; there are a lot of scenery objects to choose from.  Do you want a water tornado for your customers to look at, or just simply some flowers.  You also will need benches and trashcans both of these can be found in the scenery.
WORKERS:
Even though you can do whatever you want to build up your park you will need some help to keep your park up and running. 
HANDYMAN:  This little guy is handy he cleans your sidewalks, mows your lawns, empty’s your trash cans, and waters your plants.  With out him your customers will complain that the park is to dirty for them.
MECHANIC:  Workin non-stop they inspect your rides and fix your rides that are broke.  As rides get older they will need more maintence then your new ones.
ENTERTAINERS:  I personally love these guys.  No you don’t need them but they are fun to have in your park.  You can dress them up however you want, your options: elephant, pirate, tiger, knight, or a snowman that actually juggles his snowballs.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
·         You can take out a loan to get your park going.  You do have to pay interest so only take what you need.  There is also a limit to what you can take out.
·         There are also advertisements that you can send out to tell people about your park, you can advertise a certain ride, or something from your gift shops, or simply you can just advertise your park.
 
·         You can also name your workers, rides, and your park.  You can change the colors of their suits, or the color of your rides.   Also the different rides allow different music you can select such as rock and roll or scary music for your haunted house.   
·         This really is a special feature.  One of the shops you can purchase is a balloon stall.  Your customers will buy balloons throughout the game.  As soon as you win the game everyone who has purchased a balloon let’s go and the balloons fly to the sky and they all stop to clap for you.  Fun huh!!!
 

CONCLUSION:
I have had this game for 6 years and I still like to sit down and play it.  Like I said earlier, you have to have a different strategy every time you play.  It’s a great game!
