Author's Review
If you're looking for a nice single player RPG, either Morrowind or Baldur's Gate style, avoid Dungeon Lords. This game is incomplete, buggy, and offensive to gamers.
Dungeon Lords is a single/multiplayer RPS, similar to Diablo but in 3D first person. You run around killing crap in a medieval world and pick up gold and items, and do quests.
Bugs aside, the game design blows. The designers hate us so much, that they've added frustrating tricks like placing holes in the floor so that you can fall alllll the way back to the start of the level.
Or what about the "run around a dungeon maze till you find some un-named switch, then back-track all over the place so you can figure out what door just got opened."
Let me also add that some important features are missing. For example, in the character creation screen, the little part where you customize your character is not selectable. Want to know why?
IT'S NOT IN THE GAME!!! For gods sake, they didn't even finish this game!
Adding in bugs, like a screwed up resolution in the main menu, constant clipping problems, being unable to get to menu from in the game and having to quit every time you save, running like crap on a powerful computer, you've got yourself a little CD that fits nicely in your garbage can.
