These might look like "lightweight" only weighing 2.8 lbs., but the Men's Thorogood 804-6026 steel toe station boots are tough and ready to help you get the job done. The steel toe of the boot goes above and beyond the minium safety requirements which provides you with rock solid protection. The outsole of the shoe is made up of a unique translucent TPU (Thermo Plastic Urethane) material that is non marking and does not leave surface residue when tested according to MIL-S-22777 paragraph 4.5.1. The removable polyurethane insoles have a non-woven nylon lining that pushes the comfort level to the limits while maintaining an appreciable temperature level within the boot itself. Your feet are sure to feel the difference. The uppers are made out of black full-grain, oil-tanned leather which easily allows for a quick break-in period so the boot gains a better fit in half the time.
