Product Description

Tobe Hooper's TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE appeared like a nightmare in 1974, establishing a whole new genre of horror film. Thirty years later, the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE is back. Directed by well-known commercial and video director Marcus Nispel, and produced by Michael Bay (ARMAGEDDON, PEARL HARBOR), this remake begins in the same place as the original. Lee Ermey) for help. It isn't long before the blood begins to pour and the notorious chainsaw of the maniacal, murderous Leatherface starts to roar.

Although considered relatively low budget (9.5 million) by 2003 moviemaking standards, Nispel's remake is worlds away from the no-budget feel of ...

Date of Review:  Oct 17, 2003
The Bottom Line: A definitely in-theater treat for fans of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and slasher flicks in general.
Review: A sucker for a horror movie that doesn t star any number of the usual teen princes or princesses, I was more than happy to wait (briefly) in line for opening night of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know Jessica Biel was the heroine,...

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Family Values

Date of Review:  Jun 19, 2004
The Bottom Line: In case you're wondering, the DVD special stuff sucks. It only features a music video by a crappy bad. Bugger.
Review:

In the early nineteen forties a man named Ed Gein dug up dead people and made clothing out of their skin with their body parts like masks made out of their faces, belts made of female nipples, and a box of women s privates. Sure, he only...

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - 2003 Edition is not a bad movie at all. It does not compare to Tobe Hooper's original, but it is still fantastic. This is a videoreview of the DVD.
