This ultra-durable housing is made of multi-layered carbon fiber, which is much lighter and stronger than the magnesium alloy used for most notebooks. Sony's VAIO SZ notebooks also take security seriously, employing a biometric fingerprint sensor and proprietary hard disk drive protection software to ensure your data is protected from unauthorized use as well as accidental damage. It also stores passwords to secure web sites you visit, so authentication and access are quick and easy--you only need your fingerprint.
