Buyer Beware! Terrible blueshifted image. Worse than it's predecessors

The Bottom Line: Use this to record audio. Please don't ruin your memories by drenching them in an icy blue tint.
Review: My goodness, I had my Sony dcr-hc30, a 2004 midrange handycam stolen from me recently. I figure I could get a decently upgraded version of what I had by going for the dcr-hc48. I was sorely mistaken. This camera's color balancing favors blue so much...

The Bottom Line: The best bet in the market now. Panasonic is out there but reliability issues plague.Canon is better with manual controls but the ease of use is not there.
Review: Well have been on the lookout for my first camcoder for a while.Main concern was my 400$ cut off, so had a look at most of the camcoders in that range.
