Noise A- Cleaning A- Collection Grids replaced after 1.5 years

The Bottom Line: Air cleaners are a compromise across several operating parameters, this unit has excellent CADR per watt,is almost silent. Collection grid replacement raises ownership costs significantly.
Review: Update- 11/23/08- All replacement grids functioning perfectly- a good thing sisnce Sharper Images seems out of business. The absolute best way to clean is with a putty knife the approximate width of the opening and a micro fibre cloth cut to the...

Avoid - high price, low quality, electric sparking, high failure rate.

The Bottom Line: Buggy, pricey, outright dangerous electrically. Poor quality, not what I expect from Sharper Image. Avoid this one!
