Combining the highest quality picture in the least amount of space, Samsung introduces among the world's smallest and most affordable widescreen format HDTV Monitor. The TXN2670WHF is ideal for the bedroom, a den, or special cabinet. Regular TV looks better because all analog signals are digitally converted and then presented in the better progressive scan. For the movie lover, the newer flicker-free progressive scan DVD players are compatible with the TXN2670WHF and are able to display the better 480p progressive scan picture. Film to video transfers can have flaws that Samsung's 3: 2 Pull Down circuitry corrects. When you are ready to add an HDTV receiver/decoder, there are two sets of auto sensing wideband component inputs that can display 1080i HD. The 30-Watt audio system and the 16: 9 aspect ration picture deliver an experience that is just what the director intended.

Maybe OK, customer service a nightmare

The Bottom Line: My experience with this TV has taught me to never buy Samsung again. The TV stopped working and so far it is taking 8 months to solve a problem.
Review: Bought TV in July 2003, shut itself off permamently in September. Called Samsung for Service and given contact for service center (Montreal, Canada). Technician came, couldn't fix it, said will be back in one week. Two weeks pass and no show, so we...

A perfect 2nd HD ready television for placement in our "den"

cheapest HDTV monitor/NTSC tuner

Review: Visible pixels on left and right sides of the screen. No digital/HDTV tuner built in. Good color after manual calibration. Great size for the bedroom and affordable price.
