The Bottom Line: This is a great way to watch the videos you purchased abroad...be aware that all your friends will want you to convert stuff for them!
Review: I bought this VCR so we could watch tapes purchased in Europe and Russia. After shopping around quite a bit, I finally decided this was the best "bang for your buck" and would up purchasing it at B&H Photo in New York for about $375.

The Bottom Line: Once you get through the setup, you never worry about the TV standards again. Put any tape in an watch it. Picture quality is excellent
