Product Description

 
The 1996 Saab 9000 4-door hatchback is available in three models: the CS, CSE, and Aero. Standard safety equipment includes dual airbags, an anti-lock brake system (ABS), and daytime running lights. The CS comes with a 2.3-liter 170-horsepower turbocharged engine, heated front seats, a theft-deterrent system, and air conditioning. The CSE comes with a 200-horsepower turbo engine standard, and can be upgraded with a 210-horsepower V6. A sunroof, leather interior and power front seats are also standard on the CSE. The Aero upgrades with a 225-horsepower 2.3-liter turbocharged engine, lowered sport chassis, and Z-rated tires

A Great Sports "Family" Car

The Bottom Line: Because of its size, ride and handling characteristics, this is a luxury performance "family" sedan at it's best without the high price.
Review: This is a review on the 9000 CS, the least expensive of the three 9000 models offered in 1996. I purchased this car as a replacement for my commuter car, a 1997 Saturn SL2. My oldest boy, who is almost four years old, was complaining that the back...
