This RoHS compliant adapter adds one parallel port to any PCI-equipped desktop computer. The adapter conforms to PCI 2.2 Plug and Play and can be installed in 32-/64-bit, 3.3V/5V PCI and PCI-X slots. It provides full support for DOS- and Windows-based software, is compliant with the IEEE 1284-1994 parallel port standard, and supports ECP/EPP, Bi-directional (PS2), and Standard Parallel Port (SPP) modes. The PCI IRQ sharing feature reduces IRQ conflicts. For your convenience, this adapter works with various types of parallel devices including printers, removable drives, scanners, CD-R/RWs, and more.
