The Pioneer DEH-P6900UB receiver gives you a seemingly unlimited amount of options when connecting to external devices. Pioneer’s “uBus” USB direct control system allows you to plug in a large variety of USB devices, including that shiny new iPod, and control them without using any auxiliary inputs or adapters. The DEH-P6900UB also plays MP3, WMA, and AAC files off discs and features a rear input for satellite radio or a CD changer. Also, a Bluetooth adapter gives you the option to make convenient hands-free calls through your sound system.

Obvious improvement over VW factory receiver

A good head unit that is almost great

The Bottom Line: Of the head units with USB input, I still think this is one of the best. It's quirky, but very capable.

The Bottom Line: Still a great unit and a great buy! Just listen to a CD or your satellite radio while it's loading the USB hard drive!
Review: I bought this unit to replace my Buck's stock stereo. I had the CircuitCity boys install it for about $120 to include labor, housing and misc. wiring stuff.
