The Bottom Line: Consider this machine if this is your 1st machine (espresso) & you want to determine if you will use it &/or do not have the available counterspace for separate machines.
Review: I received this machine as a gift to replace a small, low-cost 10-bar pump espresso machine. Although I would not consider the XP2010 to be "top of the line" espresso machine, it does brew coffee & make a decent espresso. As far as coffee pot/carafe...

Overall a good machine with a solid build

The Bottom Line: Other than the few flaws I really like this coffee/espresso maker.
Review: After my last coffee machine I spent a lot of time checking out coffee makers. I had it narrowed it down to two systems and this Krups was one of the two. My wife, tired of my procrastination & indecision bought the Krups for me for Christmas.
