JVC calls the Everio GZ-MG130 a “Hybrid Camera”. Hybrid meaning not only do you have the option of capturing up to 37 hours of video to the camcorder’s internal hard drive, but you also can record video and stills to a SD Memory Card. Snap digital stills at a resolution of 640 x 480 and setup your shots perfectly with the vivid 2.7 inch, widescreen LCD monitor. The Everio Hybrid Camera also features 34x optical zoom and easy to use Stick Control for navigating settings and menus.

LOTS OF BELLS AND WHISTLES. BATTERY OPTIONS DISAPPOINTING

The Bottom Line: Buy if you plan on making good, long movies and will use often. For occasional use, more basic camcorders can be found for less.

What a waste of money

The Bottom Line: Stay away,It is not a user friendly product. I don't understand why JVC would include software that clearly doesn't work well with the camera.
