The Hitachi Ultrastar 74GB SAS is Excellent and Affordable

The Bottom Line: An excellent SAS at 74GB used for operating system partition; not the fastest but will do the job, because it is comparatively reliable and dependable.
Review: Currently, there are three major SCSI hard drive manufacturers (in alphabetical order):  Fujitsu, Hitachi and Seagate. I use SCSI hard drives in my workstation system, for the obvious  reason that I demand sheer performance; and no hard drives out...
