I am very happy with this unit

The Bottom Line: It does the job very well.  I recommend it.
Review: Our bedroom has windows which face west.  Here in the Vancouver area the summer sun beats down on those windows till around 9pm, no fan is going to help cool the room before bed time.

Review: Used this product for 2 days, so far it seems great. Cools well, noise is reasonable. I tried the LG 8000 BTU before and returned it as cooling was insufficient. The difference between the 8,000 and 10,000 BTU is significant. I recommend it.

Review: I bought my LG LWHD1000CR at The Home Depot. Good price for 10,000 BTUs. But installation was a three hour nightmare. Do not use the Type C screws to attach the sill supports as it says in the manual. Only the Type A screws worked for me. And the...
