When the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar came on the scene in 1983 it offered guitarists the key Les Paul Standard features, including a carved top and humbucking pickups. This slimmed-down yet elegant design quickly became the most popular model in the Les Paul Series. Cutting-yet-rich tone the hallmark of the LP rains down from the 490R and 498T alnico magnet humbucker pickups mounted on a carved maple top with a mahogany back. Rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays makes for great looks while dual volume and tone controls provide total control over the sound. Includes Gibson hardshell case.

The Bottom Line: Dont buy it unelss you are an expert guitarist, not worth the price. It made me appreciate my cheaper Stratocaster.
Review: The name brand Gibson wows any guitar player or anyone with a basic knowledge of the guitar industry. However, in my experience with this guitar the name is not all it is cracked up to be.
