Cons: Choppy character development, redundancy.
The Bottom Line: This is a good book for Anne McCaffrey fans. But if you are not already a fan pick one of her other books.

Pros: A quick-paced story full of action in a new and exciting world.
Cons: The characters are a little flat for my taste.
The Bottom Line: Read this book if you enjoy light science fiction.
