In the event of a power outage, PowerPanel Personal Edition Software automatically saves and closes open files and then shuts down the computer system in an intelligent and orderly manner.

Overall this works well enough. It doesn't provide a great deal of battery backup time, but it's enough. Pros: Helps save the computer, Allows you to save your work Cons: Doesn't give very much time
