Just what we've come to expect from GM

The Bottom Line: If price is all you care about, I recommend you not even consider this car, you could get an older used vw for the same price.

The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a good American small car, forget the Cavalier. Look at the Ford Focus.  It's a better value and better built.
Review: I really wanted to like this car.  Honest, I did.  As the former owner of a 1989 Cavalier VL coupe -- and the son-in-law of the owner of a 1997 Z24 -- I figured that the 2004 model would be improved over those models.

My second fantastic Cavalier, owned a 1997 and now the 2004...

The Bottom Line: I recommend the Cavalier because I myself have never had a better car and I have owned 40 different makes.
Review: I love the style and classy look of the 4 door. It is very easy on the eye and wallet.

I can not understand why there are so many complaints over a compact car, that is what it is so that is what you get.
