Product Description

Now a major motion picture starring Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou.

While in Paris on business, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon receives an urgent late-night phone call: the elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum. Near the body, police have found a baffling cipher. While working to solve the enigmatic riddle, Langdon is stunned to discover it leads to a trail of clues hidden in the works of Da Vinci, clues visible for all to see, yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.

The Da Vinci Code: A Masterpiece of a Mystery

Date of Review:  Jul 15, 2003
The Bottom Line: Keeps you guessing and thinking to the last page!
Review: I am a slow reader, but compared to my husband, I'm a veritable Speedy Gonazalez. He starts a book and, if he's really interested, he finishes it three weeks later. So when he finished reading The Da Vinci code in three days, I was impressed.

Date of Review:  Jun 29, 2004
The Bottom Line: Best book I have read in a long time. I really enjoyed this book.
Review: I had heard quite a bit about this book, from media as well as first hand from people who had read it. It sounded intriguing and I was curious but I am kind of cheap when it comes to book buying. Luckily for me I found a copy of the Da Vinci code by...

Professional Reviews

Salon: "Dan Brown's novel is an ingenious mixture of paranoid thriller, art history lesson, chase story, religious symbology lecture and anti-clerical screed, and it's the most fun you can have between the sort of covers that aren't 300-count Egyptian cotton."
