Product Description

 
Known for our innovation and product design excellence, Bazooka is setting new standards for woofer design and performance. The new elevated listening woofers all come standard with poly woofer cones, rubber surrounds, progressive flat spider, Kapton VC former, stepped basket with side venting, bumped backplate with rear pole piece venting, and spring loaded nickel plated barrel terminals for a perfect connection. What sets these woofers apart is the design of the pole piece vent that allows for the installation of the new Bazooka CHIL plug (available March 2001), which provides liquid cooling for the voice coil of the woofer. An industry first! The CHIL plug liquid cooling application raises RMS power handling by over 50%!

Loud, but no excursion

Review: I have installed 2 of these subs in a sealed box. I have hooked up a new Sony Xplod XM-D400P5 400 Watt RMS sub amp to them. While they are loud and put out clean bass, they don't have much excursion. I can push these things really hard and haven't...
