The CDE-9883 is also Bluetooth™ ready for hands free cell phone operation, and steering wheel Remote Ready so you don’t have to reach for the dash. This unit is also Ai-NET compatible, so you can add more Alpine sources to your system and control them from your head unit.

The Bottom Line: A well balanced system for those with a well balanced taste in music.
Review: I really can't help poking my nose into my friends' businesses…..Umm Cars!

This pal of mine was on a shoestring budget & wanted a decent system within $200, preferring to go for $10,000 & above systems a few years from now.

The Bottom Line: Ugh -- wait for a more modern unit.
Review: Do you get annoyed by programs on your computer that pop up annoying windows forcing you to wait, and click "Ok" for really no reason at all? Then this radio will annoy the hell out of you.

I own the CDA-9883, installed professionally by...

The Bottom Line: I love this head unit and would recommend it to anyone.
Review: The description of the Alpine CDA-9883 says that it is very customizable. This is true, and one of the best ways to describe it.

In the CDA-9883, you can purchase separate modules so that you can fully control your iPod through the head...
