Consisting of a hydrocolloid adhesive with outer clear adhesive cover film, 3M Tegaderm Hydrocolloid Dressing is impermeable to liquids, bacteria and viruses and is frequently used on Stage II and Stage III pressure ulcers, skin tears, and partial and full thickness venous leg ulcers. The inner layer of the 3M Tegaderm Hydrocolloid Dressing adhesive absorbs exudate faster than the leading competitive hydrocolloid in the first 48 hours. Tegaderm Hydrocolloid Dressing also features a breathable outer film layer that provides a consistently high rate of moisture vapor transmission.
