Product Description

 
The 2005 Dodge Neon is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in two trims, the SE and the SXT. Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 132-horsepower engine that achieves 29-mpg in the city and 36-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.

2005 Dodge Neon - Still a good value?

The Bottom Line: Still a decent value (after rebates), however I do feel there are better choices on the market.
Review:
Although horribly unreliable, when Dodge introduced the Neon back in 1994 it was one of the most fun-to-drive economy cars in its class. The car was light, had more than enough power, and offered great handling. So what has the Neon been up to...

The Bottom Line: Due to its many issues, I cannot recommend this car. It lacks the refinement of its competitors, and is being replaced by the brand new Caliber.
