The Action series by Nikon feature knobby rubber armored housings for comfort and offer wider fields of view than comparably classed binoculars. It also has a tripod screw for serious outdoor observations. The 10-22x50 zoom model is intended for both lowlight viewing at the shorter end of the zoom as well as distant observations in better conditions.
