Please don't do business with this company!  I ordered a pistol sight and mount which was never delivered despite multiple assurances by customer service.  Finally demanded a refund which was never given despite repeated promises.  My credit card company had to intervene on my behalf to get my money back!  Check out OpticPlanet for real service.

my shopping experience was bad, placed an order and needed next day service and it didnt arrive..... order was  144 and i paid 30 dollars more for shipping..... two days later still havent recieved it and sat on hold with customer service for 20 min. only to be disconnected...... this will be my first and last order with optic sale

I ordered from OpticSale.com many months ago, and it took them almost a month to get me the wrong item.  I returned it, of course, and have been trying to get a refund ever since.  Each time they promise me I will get my refund, and each time I don't get it.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience with OpticSale. I bought a radar detector from them. The customer service not only took the time to explain the nuances of the devices, but he recommended a cheaper product than the one I was interested in. I am extremely happy with my purchase, and received it within a few days of placing my order. I would definitely buy from here again.

I too have fallen victim to the no delivery of paid merchandise scheme.  Still waiting over 2 months for the promised items.  I've been told "it's been shipped but we lost the tracking number, I'll have to get back to you."

Called the next day and got someone.  I pushed for a new shipment since they couldn't locate original tracking.  Got merchandise as originally ordered.

I am not one to typically post reviews, but in this case I feel as though I need to. Here is my story:

Ordered a pair of Bushnell binoculars on Monday, told the gentleman(Alex, I believe) that I needed these for the big game on Thursday. Alex was very helpful, assured I would receive my binocs. on time and guess what? I got them a day early! I must say I am impressed, not only with the service(one on one), but the prices. I am an extremely frugal shopper and price shop like nobodies business and Opticsale beat everyone's price by at least 10 percent. Bottom line, I would buy from these guys again and again and not worry in the least bit.

I ordered a telescope accessory from Opticsale over 2 months ago and still have not received anything. The tracking page on the website shows that it still has not shipped. I called and emailed the company many many times without any response. I have been given the runaround and treated to massive delay tactics. These criminals claim that my package shipped but won't give a tracking number to verify. Opticsale will steal your money and you'll never see anything in return. Do not fall victim to the same trap I did.

I ordered a telescope for my kids for Christmas on Dec.19. A few days later I was emailed that the item was on “priority back order” and would ship in one to two weeks. On Jan.15 I was emailed that the item was would be out of stock until between Feb.15-25. I canceled my order and tried to order a more expensive telescope that they said they had in stock. When I checked another web store I found the same telescope for about $50 less, so I asked them about their “Price match” policy but they refused to honor it saying the other stores return policy was different because they give you three more days to return it than the other guy. They just couldn’t take that extra little step to satisfy a customer after making them wait for a month for something they sold without having in stock in the first place.

I placed a phone order on 12/20/05 to make sure the binoculars I wanted were in stock and I would receive them for Christmas. I was told the model I wanted was in stock and that I should pay for the 2day delivery to be safe. Next day I get a phone call saying they did not have the ones I wanted in stock but had a better quality set for about the same price. I received my binoculars on 12/28/05 worst part is they were defective and cant be used. I called got a return # and asked for a shipping label to be e-mailed to me, I was told I would receive it shortly. Here it is February 1-06 and I finally had to call my Credit card company and dispute this charge. I called several times, left messages since you can never get ahold of a real person, I sent e-mails with no response. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

Ordered binoculars, and received a phone call within 2 hours, which is acceptable, notifying me that they did not have this model in stock. The message they left on our ans. machine was that they "had other binoculars in stock at a similar cost", which they did not specify, and they asked me to return their phone call. After numerous attempts to contact them by phone, I emailed them that unless they could return the phone call that I wished to cancel the order. They sent a return email stating that the order had been cancelled. I guess that they were not really interested in making a sale? Very disappointed.

Alex was most helpful in assisting me when I called to inquire about the item I ordered. He suggested I switch to another brand to find quality I would be happy with. I spoke to him on 1/2/06, and did follow his recommendation, switching my order to a Zhumell compact binocular, which he said was back-ordered and would be in within 1-2 weeks. As of yesterday, I have not received the item, and an e-mail from Alex indicates that the item has not yet come in. Therefore, I am unable to properly rate this site at this time. Please check back in another week or two!

Unfortunately, I assumed a certain quality of binocular, and was disappointed. This may have been due to my lack of experience with optics - a friend told me later that the 10 X 25 combination is never good (too small a binocular trying to be too powerful or something). My greatest frustration was that they require a restocking fee, which in my case amounted to $12. Hard lesson to learn, and I won't buy again knowing that if what I purchase doesn't work, I have to pay sizably for my mistake.
