My on line shopping experience was excellent. The order was very easy to place. My only complaint is the quality of the product. The battery life is really bad, if there were a competing product I would purchase it, summing up the robot is great the battery is horrible.

Shipping for parts and accessories was slower than expected; the robot was supposedly in stock on the web site, but confirmation email a day later indicated it was backordered. Second email indicated further backorder for at least a month, at which time the order will be canceled if the product does not come in.

My original order had problems on the sellers check out screen of their the web site. Because of this, I missed out on a promotion. I called the company and they said they couldn't do anything about it. I sent an email and they offered the sale price of the product but when I received the product, the promotional belt holster ($30 value) for the looj was not included. This was one of the main reasons why I wanted the product. I will probably not buy from them again.

I only shop through the onsite store, because the only thing that is offered locally are the filters at Bed, Bath and Beyond. The brushes really ought to be available locally along with the filters, because I sometimes go through those just as quickly. If one of the brush's limbs gets caught in a crevice along the baseboard, it sometimes rips off, especially if it is weakened by repeated incidents.

This is the second time I have ordered from IRobot. I ordered a replacement battery and had to get another replacement for the replacement battery because the first was defective. The first man I spoke with was short with me and basically said "what do you want me to do about it", then I spoke with another rep, a lady, who was most helpful. I have not had any problems with the new item.

Excellent shopping experience. Also, the robot works as advertized. However, the instruction manual could be improved -- it is vague about reinstalling the robot's cleaning head after washing it. It does not mention at all that the charging port cover has to be closed before the robot will power-on (which makes sense, but should be included in the startup instructions).
