Purchased a bluetooth headset. Arrived dead on arrival and looked used. Had to pay to ship it back and receive a refund. Hesitated but purchased a mustang MV-STAT3 wall mount believing that it had a $89 rebate. Terms and conditions stated that a purchase of a MV-STAT3 was required. After ordering realized that the terms and conditions did not include that a purchase of a LCD or plasma display is required. It did state it in the instructions but I unfortunately read only the terms and conditions thinking that will give me all the details. I consider myself a veteran rebate shopper. So I missed the part in the instructions section that a LCD or plasma display is needs to be purchased. Now I was thinking ok find the cheapest lcd display and buy it. Did you know that on the webpage (not on the rebate form) it states that the display needs to be on the same receipt. Ecost seems to made it very difficult to get a rebate. Don't have this problem with other venders. Just buy the item and send in the rebates with receipt and UPC. This one had a couple of twists and turns. BEWARE. Why do I have to look at 3 different places to get the information required to send in the rebate. I wonder where else I have not looked that would state I needed to also buy XYZ cable as well. RIDICULOUS. Also the item they sent is different than the picture that is on the rebate and on the website. Suffice to say I think it is better not to shop at ecost. I could have spent less money and had gotten the same product. I have also seen, since I have purchased this item other wall mounts that are free after rebate or only costing $30-40.
