I was looking for a camera bag for Christmas and after finding what I was looking for on Ebags I decided to order. The price was higher on Ebags then a competing website and ebags supposedly has a 110% Price match. I called to do the price match and I was informed that they have to charge full price now and then in 3-5 days a credit will appear (4 days later now, still hasn't appeared)
Product Selection: Ebags has a pretty good selection of Luggage, back packs, messenger bags, purses etc..
Customer Service:Calls are handled promptly, I never experienced any hold time in the 3 calls I've made. The representatives are friendly but haven't been very helpful in my experience.
Returns:
Ebags advertises
"hassle free returns" they even go so far as to put a sticker on the box that says "hassle free returns" I have to say there return policy is the biggest hassle I've encountered in the 9 years I been shopping online.
Firstly the bag didn't ship from them, nowhere on the site does it advise you that they drop ship from vendors and not from there own warehouse. They couldn't process my return till yesterday, when there bill cleared with the vendor. They advise you that the email containing the return shipping label can take 3-5 business days to arrive in your inbox. At this point I tried to get a supervisor and was advised that there are none availible, I was put on hold for several minutes and was advised that by end of business day I'll receive the email instead of having to wait.
Within 2 hours I received the email with the label, and I shipped the bag back yesterday. The vendor happens to be an hour and a half South from here, so the package was received today. I called Ebags tonight and was advised it will take an additional 3-5 business days for them to process the return and issue the credit.
