WORST Online Ordering Experience EVER! I went shopping for a coffee maker, but found a good deal, so I ordered an espresso machine labelled $39.95, and my order total came to just over 50 bucks. They contacted me about the price being a mistake on their site...was supposed to be $399.95. Okay, sounds a little hokey, but I understand typos. Way more than I wanted to pay when I was originally only looking for a coffee maker. No big deal. Please cancel my order.
Before they get an answer ten minutes later on whether I want to cancel my order or not, they update it to the now correct price of over $400 in their system, hit my card for $350 more than I approved and send me an order confirmation.
I call them, get told one thing. Call back when I was supposed to, get told another. Call back again when I was supposed to...ends up I've called them 5 times in the last 6 hours and have never gotten past the order department phone room. I have no way of actually knowing where my money is or when/if I'll get it back. They are unorganized and depending on which phone room operator you get, can be quite rude.
Only thing I can say is, if you haven't finalized your order yet, DONT. Run, Run away very quickly. Go somewhere else, anywhere...but be careful. Zaccardi's is only one of the web sites run by the same parent company. Meaning you'll get the same poor service no matter which "company" you call. Not sure which companies fall under their umbrella, but one of the people I talked to had to ask which site I was on.
