STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! There products are garbage and there technical and customer support staffs are there to help rip you off. The products are not worth the material that they are made of. If you want to throw your money away, go ahead and do what I did, place an order!!!!

The service is very easy to use and X10 have many hot deals that you can save money by ordering a bunch of it. I highly recommend them for any x10 needs. Also, they are usually good with accepting the return items if you realize it doesn't fit your needs. I will continue to buy products from them.

On October 2005, I ordered a heater for $57.99. The product, delivered by fedex 10 days later, was damaged. I contacted the customer support which issued a return authorization.
The package was picked up by Fedex the following day. Since then, despite numerous email and certified mail, I could never get my money back. The company first ignored my requests and now pretends that the package was never received. After 10 months, I filed a complain to the Federal Trade Commission and transferred the case to my lawyer. If you dont want to find yourself in such a situation, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. |

shopping cart is mostly broken. shipped one order with my credit card as the ship to name, would not respond to my emails, had to fix it with fed-ex myself. would not admit to any culpablity, said I entered my credit card number as my name, so they must have charged my name as my credit card number. have so far received 2 items doa, they expect me to pay for the rma shipping, too.

I received my order with a cord that was defective. They wanted me to pay for shipping there defective part back for exchange. It took 5 e-mails before I got this far. I would never order from this company again.I did not order defective goods, why should I have to pay to send the back so that I can get the product that I ordered in the first place.

This was my first experience dealing with x10.com and I have to say this is probably the best service I've ever received from an online order. I placed my order Sunday and by Monday I had received confirmation that my ordered had shipped. Part of my order was the ActiveHome Pro software and I had an email on Monday morning instructing me on how to download it. The rest of my hardware arrived on Wednesday.
The instructions provided by x10.com were very easy to follow and installation was a breeze. Great service, highly recommended! |

Customer service was a bit disappointing because of the time I spent waiting for a customer service representative. I was on hold for nearly an hour before I was put in contact with a person. Once I was able to talk to a person, the rest of the process went smoothly.

I did not rec. all the items that I was to get with this system and I have made a dozen calls by phone ( left on hold for hours ) or by e-mail ( 1 person return my e-mail and I told her what was missing and gave her the item # but I havent herd from no one till this survey ) I am very unhappy with this service and if it is not corrected I will not order from them again nor will I tell friends about this company .... 7/1/06: Excellent experience on a Bandit special, however I was hoping to find some extra accessories for the product but was unable to locate any (they only showed as for a similar product and would likely have worked). Also, I wanted 2 and added another to my cart but it still showed only one. I went back to the page and it said that quantities are limited to 1 so I just went on. However after checkout my confirmation showed as 2 with total charges as such. So I really don't know at this point if I will be charged and sent 1 or 2.
7/8/06 Update of above review: I received my product (IN ONLY TWO DAYS FROM SHIPPING (because of July 4th holiday)!!!, coming from Las Vegas to Phoenix) and I did in fact get the 2 sets as I wanted, but that the cart did not show. Order placed Saturday afternoon and I received it Wednesday. Excellent processing time for fast receipt. |
